OUR HISTORY

Can you imagine the Cavalier Manor, Victory Manor and Victory Park communities without a church within their boundaries? The community was incomplete. There was a need for a church, Sunday school, Scouting programs and Christian recreational program for the youth.

The Board of National Missions, United Presbyterian Church, USA and Rev. Thomas B. Hargrave, Jr. sensed the need for a church in the community and sent persons into the community to lay the groundwork for the organizing of a church.

OUR MINISTRY

Health Ministry

Supports and initiates new programs and activities focusing on wellness and spirituality for the congregation as well as the neighboring community.  Sponsors an annual Health Fair encouraging members of the congregation and the local community to participate in health awareness programs.

 

Tutoring Ministry

Our Each One Teach One tutoring program is a community outreach program that offers free tutoring to school aged youth as well as college students.
